A Force For Good?

During the debate in the house of Lords over the same-sex marriage bill; the words from Baroness Stowell hailed the legislation “as a force for good” which would strengthen the institution of marriage,”

The opposite is true, same-sex marriage will only weaken the institution of marriage and therefore weaken the family unit; mother, father, and children. Marriage is Gods divine design he made woman for man so he would not be alone.

It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make him a helper suitable for him.’Gen 2:18, 23

For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother and be joined to his wife; and they shall become one flesh.

Equality is somthing the world aspires to but it is not biblical; God has ordered creation from the start and it is reflected in the marriage of a man and a woman as Christ is to the church. Eph5:22.

What the baroness thinks is a force for good is actually a force for evil. Homosexuality is an abonimation to God, it is against His divine design. Lev 18:22, Rom 1:27. One of the many consequences of this redefination of marriage is putting the family at risk.

‘Since families are the building blocks of human society, a society that does not protect the family undermines its very exsistance. When family goes, anarchy is the logical outcome and thats where we’re headed. ‘  J MacArthur ~Divine design

“Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!” Isaiah 5:20
