Let today count!

The headlines that caught my attention read: “Exactly in the wrong place at the wrong time“. The unfortunate lady (40) was eating lunch outside a building in Mayfair London when a large wooden window frame fell from a building above her and killed her. The account came from a witness who was there at the time and called for help. He also gave an account of watching her last breath leave her body.

Her eyes were open and I saw her hand move and then I think I saw her last breath and then the light went out, she’d gone” another witness said “it happened in a second“.

It truly is a shocking and awful thing to happen in a second she went from  life to death. Our life time is short, we do not know the day or hour that will be our last. This is not morbid thinking, it is an important thing to consider. If this was your last day, do you know where you are going?

Jesus said “He who is not with me is against me.” How many people realise that by not making a decision they are making a decision. Disasters happen, freak accidents etc,  there have been quite a few this summer. The enemy is at work, don’t leave your decision too late, it’s time to think where you are headed.

Today is the day of salvation!  Let today count!
