Troubled hearts

In the news yesterday was a very sad story of a father who killed his three children and then himself. What desperation or anger causes such an evil selfish act? What kind of troubled heart does such a thing? The world is full of troubled hearts and without God there is no hope only death!

Jn 14:1 “Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me.

I came across this lovely hymn and wanted to share it with you. May those whose hearts are troubled today be comforted by these words of John Newtons hymn.

Words from the hymn “Pensive, Doubting, Fearful Heart” by John Newton, played  by Red Mountain Music.
