Two choices

My mama used to have a sign in her kitchen which read “There are two choices for dinner today, take it or leave it”

The same can be said about God; we have two choices, accept or reject Him. You are either for God or against Him, there is nothing in between. Otherwise (as my husband pointed out to me) there would be a third option when you die, which there isn’t. God made two places, one intended for the devil and the other for His children (believers); heaven or hell.
So what about agnostics, who say it is unknowable. Unfortunately that’s not the truth. Many are deceived by thinking that not really knowing is ok. Please think again. There is no such option. God is  just and gives every man in his lifetime a choice. The bible says that by choosing friendship with the world you become an enemy of God. It is that simple, black or white.
You adulterous people, don’t you know that friendship with the world means enmity against God? Therefore, anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God. James 4:4-6
“My niece recently asked during a conversation about heaven, “how do you know its true?” to which a reply came, “it’s up to you to find out”. This is true it is up to each of us individually to find out. Seek out the truth; ask, seek, knock and the door will be opened. Where? how do you seek and find out? By praying and reading the scriptures, which holds Gods life and truth.
It is Gods will that none should perish but have everlasting life. He made us to walk and commune with Him. So to those who would sit on the fence today, I say  “choose this day whom you will serve?” It’s the most important decision of your life.
“Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. Matt 7:7 NLT
I call heaven and earth as witness this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live: Deut 30:19 KJV
