Good Foundations

The PM has made a speech to look at the issues of ‘broken families’ as a cause of society breakdown. Of course this is a problem we have but what about our moral code? What code do young people follow? whatever feels good?  Knowing right from wrong is not clear in a politically correct world where even human rights pervert the course of justice. What is right and wrong in a confused world? politicians don’t have the answers to this. What we need are good foundations to build upon all else is sifting sand.

Matt 7:24″Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.

God is the foundation, tested through the ages as a blessing for nations who build upon His commands. Andreas blog (here) addresses the problem with this issue in mind.

  1. Very well said, JP, and I support your thoughts 100%.

You might enjoy the story I submitted to Bluebell Books’ Shot Story Slam this week. It deals with the same issues–in a way–from our side of the pond. http://charleslmashburn.wordpress.com/2011/08/20/22-holes-in-one-tire-3/
