Ignoring persecution

Obama and Cameron are both guilty of ignoring the plight of Christians who are being persecuted in Muslim countries and around the world. According to the Telegraph, they will discuss anything but this for fear of upsetting the Muslim community. So as the “Arab springs rage on” with their approval, Christians are being chased out, beaten, killed or imprisoned (estimated 250 million worldwide). Bishop Michael Nazir-Ali who has returned from Iraq has made a good point, he has suggested that foreign aid could be used as a bargaining tool for the safety of many christians in these countries. To me that makes a lot of sense.

If we want things to go well here, we shouldn’t abandon Gods people nor abandon God! Both America and Britain have a lot to be thankful for their Judeo-Christian past, it’s the foundation of why these countries have been so successful.

"If the West is judged on anything it is this - it stands by as
Christians die and are persecuted daily and
merely gasps when its own rights of freedom
are gently eased from its own foundation"
David Sullivan(HFCinternational)

Gods wrath has yet to be felt, and his grace I fear will slip away. As Chuck Missler said “God cannot be negligent!” Whatever the dangers ahead we are to remain ready and watching. We can pray for the governments, for the persecuted Christians, and for peace in Israel. Keep praying, Keep watching! The world has become a very unstable place especially in the Middle East, let us not become too comfortable or complacent.

Matt 24:43 But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into.
